Realizing empathy in spreading happiness and peace during Eid al-Fitr, Eco Bhinneka Muhammadiyah held the Ties of Love or called “Tali Kasih” activity. A total of 200 Tali Kasih parcels, packaged in an environmentally friendly packaging, were distributed on April 2 2024 through the Eco Bhinneka Muhammadiyah office on Floor 1 of the Muhammadiyah Da’wah Center Building, Central Jakarta. Eco Bhinneka Muhammadiyah also collaborated with the Amil Zakat Infaq Shadaqah Muhammadiyah Institution (LAZISMU) to distribute 58 Eid packages from the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH)
Syafiq A. Mughni, Chairman of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah for International Affairs, was also present to support this event. “Ramadan is a month full of blessings, and Eco Bhinneka’s step is a good thing because it shares happiness and at the same time campaigns for Green Ramadan and Green Eid,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hening Parlan, Director of Eco Bhinneka Muhammadiyah explained the purpose of this activity. “Tali Kasih is a series of Eco Bhinneka Muhammadiyah activities in the months of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. This is a continuation of the Iftar which was held on March 27 2024 with the theme ‘Brothers in Peace and Happiness’ among fellow believers, as well as protecting Mother Earth at the same time,” she said. Hening also expressed her thanks to LAZISMU who provided support for this event.
“So that happiness spreads, let’s pay zakat and give shadaqah through LAZISMU,” continued Hening. LAZISMU opened a number of accounts in the name of LAZIS Muhammadiyah for the Ramadan 1445 H program. Furthermore, she hopes that this Tali Kasih will be a reminder that sharing will not make us less, it will even increase our enjoyment and gratitude. “Come on, campaign for a Green Eid al-Fitr, carry out an environmentally friendly Eid al-Fitr, this is a way for the rahmatallillalamin, grace for the whole of nature, not only a mercy for Muslims or humans, but a mercy for the universe within it,” she said.
Happy Eid al-Fitr, everyone!
